You head inside to take a quick shower before preparing lunch for your afternoon boating trip with the grandkids. One of the features that sold you on VOV was the onsite boat/RV storage yard (although you had to wait for an available space), and the neighborhood boat ramp providing direct access to the Intracoastal Waterway. At the end of a long day boating, the grandkids insist on a quick dip in the outdoor pool before heading home. You look forward to a relaxing dinner on your screened porch where you can enjoy the serene view of ducks paddling lazily in the pond right out your back door as the vibrant colors of sunset reflect off the water. Then you head back in for a peaceful glass of wine as you read by your new electric fireplace which adds beauty year-round regardless of the weather, with no more worries about corrosion from the salt air--one of the best decisions you've made! Tomorrow you might take the kiddos down to the Vilano pier to chase the pelicans that boldly beg for treats from the fishermen and maybe the kids will be lucky enough to catch a fish of their own. Then you'll take them to lunch on the outdoor deck of the Beaches waterfront restaurant right next door. You can't wait until the oceanfront pavilion is completed in time for concerts this summer.
