There also is a boat ramp available for use at the marina by all Knollcrest residents. These amenities are only available to residents that are current with all community taxes. The eight community-owned docks are available for rent to Knollcrest residents on an annual basis. Selection is generally based on residency seniority and resident must be up to date on all community taxes. For additional details about the marina, please contact the director in charge of the marina at marina@knollcrestboard.org. deeded slip and the 8 community owned slips are currently being used by residents. There is a waiting list to get one of those slips and there are currently 7 people on the waiting list. A slip only becomes available if one of the current renters no longer has a boat or moves out of Knollcrest. So, there is a minimum of several years before a slip will become available. However, if a resident has a deeded slip and does not use it they may rent it out for the season to another Knollcrest resident who does not have a deeded slip. We charge all deeded slip owners and renters of the eight Knollcrest owned slips a fee of $250 a season. There is a kayak rack and we charge $30 a season for each kayak or canoe that is stored at the Marina for the season.
