THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
Located just 6 blocks from beach, just 4 blocks off Main St., and 10-12 blocks from each of the Santa Monica Pier, 3rd St Promenade and Abbot Kinney, this perfectly located house is a truly unique and wonderful space.
MAIN STREET: Awesome shopping/restaurant district is just 4 blocks away, where you will find every type of cafe and cuisine imaginable in all price ranges, and an eclectic mix of boutiques, vintage clothing, surf shops, history, galleries, etc. Urth Cafe, Stella Barra, Dogtown Coffee, and lots of other great places are stumbling distance. A wonderful Sunday morning farmer's market takes place on Main St too and includes family-friendly activities.
Only 10-12 blocks away (15 minute walk) is the famous Santa Monica pier with its amusement park & restaurants, downtown Santa Monica & the 3rd St Promenade which has 100's of stores and restaurants, movie theaters, and talented street performers (this is LA, after all!).
ABBOT KINNEY / VENICE: The artsy/beachy/trendy neighborhood is also only about 10-15 blocks away (15 minute walk) and is home to some of the best restaurants in the city and some of the truly must see LA spots (Venice boardwalk, canals, Muscle Beach, “White Men Can’t Jump” basketball courts, etc.).
