Hello, I am 213 North Main and if you have a few minutes, I would like to tell you my story. When I was built over a 100 years ago (I don't remember the exact year), my owner was so proud of me and what he had built! At the time, downtown Brighton was a busy place full of shops, commerce, and lots of railroad traffic. It wasn't long until my 3 bedrooms were full of children and I have been the part of many Christmas, Birthday, and Thanksgiving celebrations. There has been a lot of laughter, some tears, but so many wonderful memories. Even though things have changed, I still love being located where I am, surrounded by some other neighboring homes built around the same time. My current owner struggles to let me go but we agree that someone special will enjoy me very soon. Updates over the 10-15 years include the roof, hvac, front porch, siding, and most windows.
