Some of Calkin's best work during his cowpoke period was graffiti, several of which still adorn the walls of the Buckskin Ranch House. Frank Tinker wrote: One graffiti depicts a single tooth saddle bum: you go into the bathroom see and get settled. Then you realize that you are not alone.
