Also on the first floor is a bedroom, a three-quarter bathroom, and a utility room/laundry. Most of the original windows have been replaced with Andersen energy-savers. Upstairs there are two large bedrooms with ample closets, three-quarter bathroom, alcove office and storage areas. There is an additional heat pump upstairs. The basement has always been dry. Heating options also include a baseboard system that provides heat to the first floor. The second floor has electric heat when needed but the heat pump does the trick.
