It's lofty, airy, and wonderful. The bathrooms are brand new and pristine. Hand made tiles and marble counters on a 1920s table in the one bathroom. All new appliances. The marble countertop in the kitchen is antique and came out of a bakery in Saratoga. The timbers making up the counter were salvaged from a collapsed studio on the property. The main bath and kitchen have heated floors which is just amazing in the winter. The fireplace is magical with the original swing arm and the owl andirons. If you're here for summer months, there's ample AC to keep you nice and cool and there's a firepit and BBQ outside. The old claw foot tub has been reglazed and moved to the loft window where you can relax and look out at the forest. There's also an outdoor shower if you like to get clean in the outdoors. Look up, see the trees and the sky as you rinse your hair. You will likely see a fair amount of wild life. Deer, chipmunks and red squirrel are very common. Black bear in season. I've also seen wild turkeys and it is a great place for bird watching.
