As of March 2017

construction plans were specifically designed to lower the cost of long-term maintenance and damages that could be caused by the renters. Some of those features include the concrete scored floor/foundations, with cove base to protect the sheet rock when mopping/cleanup. We purposely did pitched rooves with shingles rather than flat roofs to limit the roofing maintenance costs. The second story is all tiled, to again limit the cost of carpet cleaning and replacement. We did put carpet on the stairs, solely as a safety issue, to limit potential slip and fall situations. We built the homes to be pet friendly, again the reason for less carpeting, and the walled yards with gravel. The pet friendly feature does help open up the rental to a larger market of potential tenants.
