Owner's description_: the variety of waterfowl, fish, fox, deer, coyote and bald eagle sightings never ceased to amaze us year 'round. Blue claw crabs are plentiful and the striped bass, white perch, and blue fish ran after alewife. Camp fires on the beach often topped the day. Unexpected was when the iced-over estuary emitted a deep, loud groan as the tides changed beneath. Moon light reflected fish swimming at the surface - onto the living room and bedroom ceiling! The RR bridge underpass kept large, noisy boats out but we managed to sail, jet ski and tow inner tubs around with the grandkids. We motor-boat accessed the thames river at low tide, but kayak was any tide."
