About This Home

Rare find, log home on +1.5 acre lot directly on the Wekiva River. 3 bedroom, 2 bath with one bedroom in the loft. Been renting as an AirBnb/VRBO property for 2 ½ years. We had 35 guests in 2021 with a gross revenue of $29,000. The current home is 1,642 square feet, with a partially completed addition of over 1,800 square feet. The first half of the addition contains a living room and the master bedroom while the 3 car garage has a large mother-in-law suite above. When completed the home’s interior would be around 3,400 square feet.

The original log home was 40 x 40 which is currently a fully functioning vacation rental with 2 downstairs bedrooms and master bathroom. The loft has another bedroom with the 2nd full bathroom. All homes in the neighborhood are on wells with water treatment systems. Since we are close to the Wekiva River, we have an advanced, high capacity septic system.

This home is sold as-is because it is a project home. The log exterior needs some work and should be re-stained. I have plenty of extra log siding for future repairs and modifications. The path to the Wekiva is about 400 feet from the back of the house, there is a wooden dock at the end which needs repair. To complete the addition the expired building permit would have to be renewed. I have the set of stamped construction drawings to complete the addition as designed by the architect. The addition was started in 2008 and all the heavy lifting has been completed and approved.

Since this is an active AirBnb/VRBO it can only be shown when no guests are present.
