You are going to love this coastal cottage retreat! Just a quick 5.5 miles or 9 minutes from the Wright Memorial Bridge that brings our northern guests onto the barrier island. Our beach house is on a piece land less than 1 mile wide from the Albemarle Sound to the Atlantic Ocean. You can see the sunrise and sunset over two bodies of water. The walk to the beach is .3 mile or 7 minute walk. The walk to the sound is also .3 mile or 7 minute walk. Another reason why our location is IDEAL, our neighborhood has one of the few stoplights, pedestrian crosswalk and newly constructed sidewalks allowing safe crossing to the beach. ASK us about our recommended equipment rental companies if you would like bikes, kayaks or other beach equipment delivered to the house. Our location is one of the absolute BEST walkable areas on the main island (Kitty Hawk - Nags Head). You can safely walk to the beach, coffee shops, restaurants, shopping and more! In the back of the neighborhood is the Bay Drive Multi-Use Path which is the longest walking path on the main beach which borders the Albemarle Sound. Take in sunset views while enjoying an evening walk. Now to our PROPERTY DESCRIPTION... we have freshly renovated this sweet, beach retreat! We have an oversized fenced yard for you and your crew to enjoy. We have added string lights and a fire pit for an evening of s'mores or just quality family time outside. The double level decks overlook our private backyard. ((FIRST LEVEL)) The first level deck has an outdoor table (seating for 6) directly outside the kitchen. The kitchen boasts a fresh, new look with brand new white appliances. The L-shaped kitchen has seating at the 'Breakfast Bar' for 3 with the barstools, as well as, a full sized dining table that seats an additional 6 people. The living room is recently updated with new seating to add extra room for everyone. There is a natural flow throughout the entire house to allows private spaces while also multiple levels for entertaining. The main floor has one bedroom with a King Bed and a full bathroom accessible from the hallway. ((SECOND LEVEL)) Head upstairs to the open-air entertainment space with couch and TV. The upstairs has two bedrooms which share a jack-and-jill style bathroom situated between both bedrooms. The front bedroom our Bunk Room with 4 Twin beds configured as 2 Bunk Beds. This room does have a TV. The guest room in the back on the house has a Queen bed and access to a private deck outfitted with two lounge chairs. Our favorite space in the house. Great for hiding out and having your coffee before mingling with the family or preparing for another beach day! ((GROUND LEVEL)) The ground level of the house is our GAME ROOM. It has a foosball table. Great for sending the kids to get a few games in as your prep dinner. The brand new washer and dryer are also on the ground level of the house.
