Motion lights turn on automatically in the evening, and extra lighting is available in the carport. A long handicap-accessible ramp leads to the front porch for easy entry.
Inside, the layout offers privacy and comfort, with bedrooms and bathrooms on opposite sides of the home. The large gated half-acre backyard gives kids and pets a safe place to play. Guests also have access to Smart TVs in every room, a toddler bed, washer and dryer, and high-speed Starlink internet.
The backyard has been set up as a small wildlife habitat with bird feeders that attract Blue Jays, Cardinals, squirrels, songbirds, and other native wildlife throughout the day. Just beyond the yard is a pond with turtles and frogs. Fishing is not allowed, but guests are welcome to toss in small diced apple pieces or other snacks to see if the turtles come up to eat.
Outside the gate near the pond, there is a deer feeder, and deer are often seen early in the morning and again near sunset. Guests can relax on the porch or deck, soak in the hot tub, watch wildlife, explore the wooded acreage, or enjoy outdoor fires in designated safe areas. Firewood is often available, but guests should always check current Freestone County burn ban status before lighting a fire.
A friendly porch cat named Callie lives on the property and may stop by for attention. Exterior security cameras monitor entrances only for safety. Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.
