This is an incredible turn of the century home (we are not sure of the date it was built) which has been converted into a duplex. The location is fantastic. It can easily be converted back to its original configuration. The home is located in a mixed density residential zone and I have been told that the tax records list it as a legal duplex. At present the home is divided into two residences, one side has a kitchen, great room, and 3/4 bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths...the other side has a kitchen, eating area, 2 bedrooms a great room/hall and a bath. This house is in the Athens Historic District. The duplex has a new roof and some new plumbing, but it is being SOLD AS IS with NO Seller's Disclosure, the owner has not lived there)...there is a lot of deferred maintenance. There are washer dryer hook ups on one side of the duplex that could be used by each side. There are appliances in each unit, but these appliances may need to be replaced.
