Plus, the barstools at the island combined with the dining and breakfast areas add up to tons of spots to sit and enjoy your meals. Finally, having saved the best for last, let’s talk about the amazing entertainment options in this home. Off the main living area, you’ll have your very own game room. With cozy furniture and funky décor, you’ll have a blast hanging out in here and playing games. The amazing backyard features a large pool that will keep you cool and provide hours of fun and also a hot tub for the cooler days. The yard is completely fenced-in to allow you the utmost privacy. There is also lots of patio seating all around including lounge chairs, a hammock, and an outdoor seating and dining area so that you can chill poolside, catch some rays, or cozy up with a book.
Pets are welcome with a non-refundable pet fee of $150 per pet with a maximum of 2 pets per stay. Early check-in and late check-out options are available, subject to availability and may include a small additional fee. An additional nightly rate applies for more than 6 guests, with a $29/night fee for each additional guest.
Situated in the beautiful tree-lined Toler Estates neighborhood of Garland, Texas, you’ll be conveniently located just 20 minutes from downtown Dallas, 35 minutes from DFW airport, and just a few minutes from the I-30. Garland has tons of parks and forest preserves and is a diverse city with both urban appeal and a fascinating history. It’s dripping with pure Texas charm! Just an 11-minute drive away, you’ll find Lake Ray Hubbard, known in the city as the perfect place to relax. There is a very special Bass Pro Shops located right here by the lake, offering great views, shopping, an aquarium, arcade, onsite restaurant, and a private sand beach. The Garland Landmark Museum is located 12 minutes away and the San Martino Winery and Vineyards, 25 minutes away. There’s also not one, but two water parks perfect for family fun — Hawaiian Falls Water Park is 18 minutes away and Surf and Swim is only 6 minutes away. Historic Downtown Garland is another local landmark that you absolutely must visit. In 2017, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. It’s the true gem of the city and has many historic buildings, shops and boutiques with specialty items, local cafes and restaurants, and live music at night in the bars. Firewheel Town Center is 15 minutes away from the home, featuring an open-air shopping complex with lots of shops, entertainment, and restaurant options.
The property does not allow parties or large unauthorized gatherings. The occupancy is limited to 10 guests, but by the City of Garland code, the property may not be occupied by more than three persons who are unrelated by blood, adoption, or marriage, with the exception of children related to an occupant. Smoking of any type is not allowed, and violations are subject to a $450 fine plus the cost to clean, deodorize, and repair damages. Check-in is at 4 PM and check-out is at 10 AM. The fireplace is gas-operated and should only be used if you are familiar with its operation, and it should not be left unattended. Noise level monitoring is in place to comply with local noise ordinances and occupancy regulations, ensuring a responsible hosting environment. A laptop computer is not included.
