What drew us to this house 15 years ago? The schools, the neighborhood and the community,
The same characteristics are here today.
The schools: The schools in Lake Mary are the best. Lake Mary high school gets an “A” rating on
Niche.com and Lake Mary elementary gets a B+. Lake Mary High School was a great experience
for our daughter both academically and athletically. The teachers prepared her for college and
the athletic program helped her enjoy her high school experience and connected her with a
scholarship to a large SEC university. Academics+ sports = scholarship and success.
The neighborhood. We think that this neighborhood is the best-kept secret in Lake Mary. It is
safe, secure, and beautiful. What is the best part of this secret? It has the safety and security of
a gated community without the gate or the HOA. This neighborhood is called Cardinal Oaks and
there is only one way in and one way out. There is no cut-through to other neighborhoods, to
the college, shopping or anywhere else, so generally local resident who live in this
neighborhood are the ones who drive down this street. No “stranger danger” here!
Community: Lake Mary has a unique vibe. The downtown section is beautiful, especially around
the holidays. Every weekend there is a Farmers Market right next to the park and city hall.
Neighbors support each other whether that means buying local Girl Scout cookies or watching out
for your neighbor next door.
Our home: It is ready to be a great place for the next family. The roof is less than 2 months old
