The builder's many years of experience has created elements beyond what the Mat -Su Valley Building Code requires. He added a shear wall in the garage for added structural integrity, and to minimize house shifting. Another touch he added was to run his wall sheeting down past the bottom plate around the entire perimeter of the house prior to nailing; this gives an added structural component. It is touches like this that come standard on a J & L Builders Inc. home.
