Since purchasing the home nearly 3 years ago, both the interior and exterior have been meticulously and lovingly renovated with high quality and energy efficient materials. I purchased this amazing home in 10/19 from two lovely men in their 90’s who lived here for 50 years. This house has incredible positive energy which I have tried to enhance during my stay.
The front door boasts a lion head doorknocker. Through the front door is a small foyer with wood-look ceramic tile floor and a coat closet. This room was originally a carport which the previous owners enclosed. It has been further renovated to divide into an entrance/closet, a full bath with soaking tub and a large sun bathed room which could be used as a den, master suite, or the possibilities are endless.
The kitchen has been renovated with top of the line extra-quiet appliances including a garbage disposal, black matte soap stone countertop, subway tile backsplash, porcelain tile floor and LED lighting. The kitchen cabinets are white shaker style with soft-close drawers and doors, built-in spice rack and wastebaskets, lazy susan and two glass front cabinets framing the window.
The dining area has a sea glass fixture. Two 6-foot windows and a sliding glass door encompass the walls on the rear side of the living area giving you amazing views of the back yard. Most all of the windows in the house have been replaced with top rated, high efficiency Renewal by Anderson windows. Low view screens were installed on all windows with a view to the backyard. Included in the sale are high quality custom blinds though-out the upstairs of the home.
The living room has a sleek, modern gas stove and a custom built wall unit with interior lighting. The floors in the living room and upstairs bedrooms are the original wood floors and have been refinished in a grayish walnut shade. The backyard has a brand new raised patio which steps down to another bluestone patio with an exterior entrance to the basement and a brand new shed made by American Sheds. The side yard has a small frog pond. The small Trex composite board deck with an entrance protected by two lion statues sits on the edge of the stream and is perfect for yoga and meditation. The Buddha statue on the deck was discovered buried on this property and will remain with the house as will most of the yard decorations if the new owner desires.
