The camp sits quite close to the lakeshore with ample space behind and to the sides affording a good measure of privacy. There is a ledge which shallows gradually making for easy canoe/kayak launching and a dock is included as well. The outside deck is ideal for relaxing or entertaining. Inside, you are visually still at the water's edge with easterly panoramic views from the sitting and dining areas and even while doing the dishes. To be quintessentially a Maine camp it must have a fieldstone fireplace in a cozy living room and, of course, this cottage does. One full bath serves both bedrooms. Biscay Lake is part of the greater Pemaquid watershed and from here you can travel by canoe or kayak the length of Biscay, or up into Pemaquid Lake and then on into Duckpuddle Lake, or make a portage hop into McCurdy Pond. Fishing can yield White and Yellow Perch, Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass, Trout, and Pickerel. An yet, should you need to do some quick shopping, you would be just 10 minutes to town.
