I am just going to say it and then spell it out!! This house is adorable, A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E!!! It is as clean as clean can be! The homeowner was raised in this home and as a tribute to the legacy of his father, he and his wife, (both perfectionist artists) re-did every aspect of this home in a way that kept the original character and brought it to current tastes and sensibilities. I can call out the list of all the updates or I can just say it has it all - from the gleaming hardwood floors to the beautiful roof! I know a lot of times you read listings that say that and there is a huge disappointment - but that won't happen here. What you can't tell from the photos is how large the lot is, how cute the street is, or that it is walking distance to downtown Birmingham. The garage is attached but not direct access into the home.
