Welcome to our house. Ranch house with a hip roof. Three bedrooms, three full baths, two-stall attached garage, 4-season sun room, finished walkout basement, and landscaped and fenced- in back yard.
We custom built this house in 1998 and have made many wonderful improvements. We have enjoyed updating our house throughout the years. From a finished basement, granite countertops, comfort height bathroom cabinets, skylight in the kitchen, extra built-in shelving to recent wood floors and professional paint throughout. Lots of interesting ceiling heights and wall openings throughout the house.
Our house has great curb appeal. Beautiful landscaped yard with underground sprinkling system. You will feel at home when you enter the house. The main floor has a spacious foyer with coat closet. Open style floor plan has a 14' cathedral ceiling in the living room, with a built-in floor-to-ceiling entertainment center and library shelves. The kitchen has granite countertops, with breakfast seating, stainless steel backsplash, built-in pantry and a lazy susan. The appliances are all stainless steel and will stay with the house. The SolaTube skylight was added 4 years ago and it really illuminates the kitchen all day. There is a large desk area/mail station at the back door to the garage along with a large coat/storage closet.
The Master Suite has a lot of custom features. A tray ceiling with light/ceiling fan. The built-in window seat features spacious storage below and custom upholstered seating above with a roman shade and cornice. The attached bathroom has a double bowl granite sink with lots of storage cabinets/drawers. The soaking tub is very relaxing with an adjacent garden window with wooden blinds.
The 2nd bedroom on the main floor is spacious. There is an adjacent bathroom with a tub/shower combination.
The sunroom feels like a treehouse. It's really fun to sit in the room and watch a storm come in from the west, have morning coffee and have long conversations. We use it every day, all year round.
The basement is finished. We've enjoyed the Family Room watching our favorite television shows and enjoying the pond with the sound of the waterfall just outside the sliding glass door. The laundry room is practical with a pocket door, folding surface, wire shelving and built-in ironing board. The 3rd bathroom is adjacent to the laundry room and has a tub/shower. The third bedroom is very roomy and has lots of storage space. This room can also be used as a craft room. The other half of the basement has exercise equipment, household utilities and wood working equipment.
From the outside, the front yard has underground sprinkling and beautiful plantings. The sides of the yard and backyard have been professionally landscaped so that there is no lawn to mow. Instead, we have a dry creek bed, a small pond with waterfall, lots of trees, perennials and a small raised garden bed and more.
