In 1830 he built ''the brick house'' on Albion Road. Successive generations of the Murch family lived and farmed here. Simeon used the English bond method of bricklaying which is considered one of the strongest brick construction methods known, and is still used today. High ceilings, horse-hair plaster walls, deep window wells, wide-plank, pine floors, hand-made pitted glass panes, original moldings, woodwork and doors, several original Norfolk latches, staircase flourish, a one-meter wide original front door, granite lintels and a granite and brick walk out cellar. Once inside, modern updates and tasteful decor let you know you're living in the 21st century. The modern kitchen, includes crushed quartz countertops, track lighting and stainless steel, Italian appliances. The home features a living room with fireplace, library, study, dining room, a sun-flooded eat-in kitchen with deck off the kitchen, laundry/fitness room (or first floor primary), large mudroom, two full bathrooms and two bedrooms upstairs.
