About This Home

As of April 2021

Old farm house on a small lot. There is a storage building and a spring house on the property. Property is being sold 'as is, where is'. Owner does not carry liability insurance on the property, so enter at your own risk. There was a propane heating system added several years ago, but a tank would need to be brought in and filled. The septic system dates from the 1930's. A new septic system will require the purchase of additional land or the use of a alternative system. Public water is available, but the house was not hooked up when lines were run. Public sewer is not available and there is no future plans in Smyth County for expansion of the system. Virginia Department of Transportation installed guardrails that currently block drive onto access. There is only parking for the house on the street. VDOT will need to modify the guardrails to allow vehicle access. There will be no inspections performed at the owners expense.
