Freshly painted, all new carpeting, new kitchen floor, Corian countertops, large sink, new garbage disposal, new Bosch dishwasher, lots of new lighting, oak handrails on the stairs, all new doors including closet doors, all receptacles, switches, and covers have been updated to white, both bathtubs have been resurfaced and caulked, baseboards have been repaired and painted or replaced, all have been caulked across the top, the furnace and garage heater have been cleaned, serviced and inspected and several smoke detectors and CO detectors have been installed. The cupboards have felt pads inside for quiet closing, there are window coverings and new shower curtains.
"The new Boiler and Boiler Mate hot water heater were installed in 2007 and has had no issues to date.
"There is an HP front load washer and dryer with pedestals for convenience and storage, there are motion sensor lights in the back of the house, two wood burning fireplaces, keyless entry to the garage and front door, and we are leaving an optional dog door.
"The house is southern facing, so it gets a lot of sun, it has energy efficient windows, furnace and the attic is very well insulated. Almost every other house in the circle has ice damming on their roof but that is not an issue for this house. This makes utility bills reasonable.
"The windows were installed in 2008 as well as the double front doors and storm doors. One of the windows has a broken seal and we are working with the manufacturer (under warranty) to replace it prior to closing.
