This 1.27 acre working, productive, income-producing farm is located along the Menehune River towards the end. This is land-only, however, a septic system is already installed (awaiting the home construction for finals) and a County water meter is also there. It even includes a John Deere mower, and a pick-up truck to get you to market!

We looked for over 2 years to find the owner this specific piece of land for his retirement dream of being a farmer. Over an acre, irrigation water, some existing fruit trees (bananas, Papayas, and mangos) which he immediately began selling. His plan was to have a fully operating small truck farm within five years selling avocados year round (5 varieties), 2 varieties of oranges (naval and Valencia), Bears lives, Honey tangerines, tangelos and lemons. We found him his dream piece of land but due to family health issues, he is forced to forego his dream and move back to the mainland.

The property also includes a wooden lockable tool shed and a non-operable aluminum, water tight, delivery van on the property. The van was obtained to be used as a shelter while construction of the house was performed.

Using irrigation from the Menehune Ditch, trees were planted based on a 5-year projection after consulting with similar successful farms on Kauai with the goal of creating a good, income-producing farm selling at the Farmers Market or wholesale to the market venders. Almost all of the planned trees are in the ground, some with fruit.

The trees and plants include: Papaya, Mango, Banana, Avocados, Limes, Grapefruit, Pomegranate, Tangelos, Tangerines, Samoan Coconut, and Guava.
