I have always been a fan of colonial homes. My affinity for them is enhanced when I list majestic brick colonial homes like 55 Linree Avenue. The home has been meticulously cared for and updated by the present owners. The home is simply as neat as a pin! It sometimes makes me wonder if the owners even live in the home. Over the years they have repainted the home keeping up with trends in decor. They finished the basement in 2005 which added a large gaming area with pool table, bar area, media space and workout room. In 2007 real hardwood floors were added in the living and dining rooms which flank the two-story foyer as is consistent with most center hall colonial styles. In 2006 two Trex decks, metal fencing, and landscaping in the front were installed further enhancing the wooded setting the lot offers. Next, it was time for the kitchen and in 2008 granite counter tops new sink and faucet were installed. The granite accents the gorgeous maple cabinetry, tile floor, and backsplash. The kitchen also features a full array of built-in appliances, island breakfast bar, and nook with patio doors out to the deck. In 2014 all the carpeting was replaced on the main stair, second-floor hallway, and all bedrooms. Thoof and rain gutters were replaced in 2014. Recently as last year; the driveway was re-sealed. The upgrades and improvements did not stop there. In 2015 the heating ventilation and air conditioning system was replaced with a new natural gas unit. The unit has been responsibly serviced since it's installation. The gas fired water heater was also replaced in 2015. The storage shed was added in 2007. As you can see, this owner is serious about the homes maintenance, upkeep, and appearance. Other architectural enhancements include a two-story family room with tile floors, fireplace, and built-in entertainment space; Sunroom with tile floors and glass doors leading to the sun deck; Laundry and mud room on the main level; master suite with large walk-in closet and luxury bath that includes a whirlpool tub and skylight. House is close to schools, day care facilities, shopping. Being on the east side of Reading makes the commute to King of Prussia and Philadelphia much more accessible.
