Gorgeous home in The Ranch. Perfect neighborhood for raising kids. Beautiful mountain views and very little traffic. A creek runs under a under a bridge at one end of the street. There are walking trails nearby for sedate family walks and a nearby school with a playground, available for neighborhood use. The nearby elementary school, Machetanz Elementary is rated one of the best in the Valley.There are also several preschools within 5-10 minutes driving distance, well known for preparing kids for entering kindergarten at the top of their class.

We hardly ever need to travel to Anchorage for shopping since Wasilla not only has a Target, but also a Fred Meyer, Carrs, Walmart, Lowe's and Home Depot, along with various small businesses and boutiques.

The Ranch neighborhood offers the best commute to Anchorage with easy access to the Glenn for a 40 minute drive to the base, 50 or so to the airport and points in between.

We love our neighborhood, its location and our home. Having more house and space for our money was a trade we more than willing to make for the longer but beautiful commute.
