Welcome to 605 Cook St. In the late summer of 2015 this cute 2br/1ba all brick home received major renovations. During the renovations the home was basically gutted and everything was redone. The home received a new roof and a complete rewire, among many other upgrades. The kitchen was completely gutted and reworked. The floor was tiled and the old, ugly fluorescent light fixture was replaced with modern, flush mount can lights. Then, new cabinets and counter tops were added along with a brand new appliance package. Originally, the laundry hookups and old water heater were located in the kitchen taking up valuable space. The laundry hook ups have been relocated to the back mud room and a tankless water heater was added. By moving the laundry hookups and hot water tank created more than enough space in the kitchen to make a wonderful eat in kitchen perfect for a table and chairs. The old ugly bathroom was completed gutted as well. The toilet and sink were moved to allow for a more efficient design. The old tub was replaced with a new tub and a tiled tub surround was added. The floors were tiled to match. A built-in cubbyhole was added to the bathroom wall for more storage. A tankless water heater was added to provide hours of hot showers. You will never run out of hot water. All of the old carpeting was removed from each room to reveal the original hardwood floors. The oak floors are in good shape and were left intact. Each bedroom has a closet and ceiling fans with light kits. Located in the backyard is a huge workshop perfect for a man cave or she shed! There are also two raised gardens for your enjoyment. In the past, these gardens have produced delicious tomatoes. The backyard has been landscaped in a way to provide less maintenance and peaceful enjoyment.
