In 2010 an in 2011 we finished the house, replumbed it with pic pipe and finished the interior, put in cabinets and appliances, the house has urethane blown in the walls and ceiling plus R-50 in the ceiling, the only wall that has rolled insulation is the one where the Toyo Stove sets.
The outdoor furnace is tied to the two systems in the house, one with the thermostat controlled in the bedrooms and the rest of the house is baseboard hot water heat. you can also have the hot water for the house thru a heat exchanger which isn't hooked up but is a easy fix. The outdoor furnace cost was about $15,000
I installed a new pump in the well 3 years ago and it was only used for 2 weeks while we were there, so it basically is brand new. The hot water heater needs new coils as the ones that are there are weak and slow to recover. It is plumbed for a water softener which it needs as the water in the area is not the greatest but the water softener does the job, unfortunately the one we had in the house froze and was no longer useable.
