The air conditioning units were replaced on the main home in 2016 and the other upgraded to a 5-ton variable speed unit in 2019 (the owners did not move in until September 2020, so these are virtually new). The previous 4-ton unit on the main house was re-provisioned for the guest house. There is also a mini-split system in the master so that to sleep very cool at night the entire house does not have to be cooled down. There is a 400A electrical service to the house, and the garage has a dedicated plug for a welder or kiln. Timers control outdoor lighting (all sconces are controlled manually, except the garage sconces and step lights that automatically come on during the evening).
