The cabin is supported by cement columns and sits well off the lake shore which is mostly sandstone. This is a plus since other areas of lake shore are experiencing some erosion issues. Owners used this as a quiet weekend get a way and kept it simple. There is running water and power but no indoor bathroom. There is although an electric incinerating commode in the outhouse! The only heating is a good old fashioned wood stove. This is a great starter kit for cabin life on the shores of Gitche Gumee. Being sold 'AS IS'.
