Awesome panoramic views of Blackwater Bay! Almost 1 acre and 176 feet of sandy beach. 200 ft pier with a 12 x 16 platform at the end was replaced in 2005. Jump off feet first in the clear 4-5 ft deep water, or just throw in your fishing line and crab traps! Don't let the age of this home fool you. The owner has meticulously maintained and upgraded this home with professionally installed quality materials. In 2007 the roof was replaced with a new stone coated, steel roof with a 50 year warranty and 145 mph wind resistance. When they installed the new roof, they converted the roof from a gable roof to a hip roof, extended all the overhangs, replaced all the fascia with hardie board planks, and added extra clips for hurricane protection. T-11 siding was replaced with hardie board on the street side of the house. They replaced all the windows and doors with hurricane impact glass instead of inconvenient and unattractive hurricane panels. Pilings were added for extra support under the front deck, concrete footers were added around all the pilings, and the carport area was expanded (doubled) with new concrete. A new septic mound system was installed in 2007. The sellers completely remodeled the kitchen with new cabinets, stainless appliances, (refrigerator stays) and a beautiful cypress breakfast bar. The new bath featured a tile shower and stacking washer/dryer that conveys with the home. The owner is a skilled woodworker and has built all of the outdoor furniture and some of the indoor furniture. He also added Cypress wood trim throughout and wood accents/accessories in most every room. The home was rewired with copper wiring in 2004 and in 2007 all of the deck railing was replaced and capped off with trex boards. One year home warranty, survey and elevation certificate available, won't last long!!
