Two cozy bedrooms are on the main level and hand hewed stairs and railings take you to a loft upstairs. The heating is forced air oil. The water is through Lady Creek and the septic has been replaced in recent history. A metal roof for snow makes winter dumps a breeze. Forced air oil heat keeps the place warmed up. The kitchen and bathroom has the basics. The bathroom even includes a bathtub! Steps out the door takes you to the deck just a stone?s throw to the Zig Zag River. A short easy path takes you down to the water. A huge flat forested area is perfect for kids to start exploring. The location is a quick 10 minutes to Ski Bowl so skiers will love this spot for winter sports. It?s not too far from Rhododendron amenities including grocery store and restaurants. A mountain biking trail is near by which comes from Government Camp. The cabin is located in the Mt. Hood National Forest on leased land. Leased land in the forest can only be used for second home ownership, so no full time residency or Airbnb rentals. This location is about an hour from Portland and even less to the airport!
