This house has ''good bones.'' That is designer speak for: the spaces are generous; the flow is interesting; the rooms are bright and large; and there are separate zones you can go to for privacy.
The house started as a nondescript ranch home. The owners took off the roof and added a second floor with a 14 foot ceiling. Then they added another 2,300 s.f. all around the original house. The living room ceiling is over 20' high.
