A $200 refundable utility deposit is required at move in to cover any difference in cost for the water/sewer/trash billing since the municipality does not allow those services to be effectively transferred into tenants name. Therefore we forward invoices from these providers to the tenant's portal for payment within 15 days of issue, or included with next rent payment- whatever date comes sooner. the $200 is meant as a stop gap in case the typically 90 invoice issues at a time that makes it impossible for tenant to be fully paid on all utilities at close out of lease. Any leftover difference between actual billing and deposit will be returned to tenant once final statement cycle has generated and been accounted for.
