Here's what the current owner loves about her home...My goal was to retire with a water view bigger than a bird bath. I did. The views here are beautiful, calming and thought-provoking. Sunrises are pretty, as is the rising of a full moon and its reflection on the water. One can enjoy the wildlife on the water and in the woods. City of Washington fireworks can also be seen. There is a seasonal golf course view of the Hole 15 tees as well. It all comes with the benefit of being on the water without the maintenance of a bulkhead.The location in this friendly community is perfect. Sitting back from the road gives privacy and quiet. It presents the feeling of living in the country, but having the benefit of wonderful neighbors, friends and amenities of Cypress Landing. The lot also allows for a circular driveway that is very accommodating. There is a space in the back yard yet to be developed that would make a great outdoor living area or garden. Outside play areas exist for children/grandchildren.Originally there was a large deck across the back. The sunroom, my favorite, was added for year-round living and serves as an area for anything from solitude to family gatherings. The whole house entertainment system can be enjoyed there as well. The sunroom was built solidly so it can be further converted should one wish to do so.The house is very flexible. You can age well here, with the master suite on the first floor. Also on the first floor is room that is currently an office, but could be a bedroom with a full bath directly across from it. The prior owner used the formal dining room as a den, where sunsets can be enjoyed, especially in the winter. Upstairs is a second master suite and two more bedrooms. flexible loft and bonus room offer both work and play spaces. Storage abounds. The rooms are large, with plenty of room for all.
