Nancy Lake is a friendly family oriented lake in Willow about an hours drive north of Anchorage. The lake has about 761 surface acres, has around 14.6 miles of shoreline and an average depth of 25'. There are rainbow trout and pike in the lake along with a few salmon: both reds and silvers returning every year. It is within the 22,000 acre Nancy Lake State Park. (see attached Nancy Lake State Park brochure). There is a mixture of cabins, recreational homes, and full time residences on it. Although all motor sports are allowed, there are a few restrictions such as a couple of no-wake zones in critical habitat areas, no-wake zone close to shores and a quiet time from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM, it is not Big Lake. It is a FAA recognized Sea Plane Base.
