As you work down to the lower level before the river there is a 20 acre food plot with another redneck blind situated on the south side. In this area you can see deer working out of the timber and from the river. They come in from all directions and again it is not uncommon to see a significant amount in the mornings and evenings on this field as well. Before the river is again native grass with large cottonwoods and plenty of spots to hang a stand and catch bucks cruising the river bank corridor in the fall. The Cimarron river has so many advantages. Duck hunting in the winter to fishing and boating in the summer to enjoying fires on the sandy banks under the stars.
