About the Builder

Sparked by their entrepreneurial spirit, Authentic Homes was founded in 2006 by Kenyon and Brandi Woods. The high school sweethearts worked diligently to save money and venture out into their own business. When they took out their first construction loan and started building, Kenyon was working as a drafter, designing floor plans for other builders, while Brandi worked in physical therapy. The giant leap of faith that Kenyon and Brandi had taken—believing that they were offering a product that people wanted, with attention to detail that was missing in so many other homes—has allowed Authentic to grow immensely since being founded. "It was really amazing. In a time when housing was doing so poorly, 2008 and 2009, our company was growing," recalls Kenyon. Kenyon and Brandi are proud of Authentic Homes and the homes they are building for customers to enjoy for many years to come!
