This is an 80 acre piece of hunting property bordered on the north and west side by County land. About one third of the property features a white cedar swamp which provides an excellent area for deer cover and bedding. Another one third of the property is a cattail swamp with high concentrations of willow and red osier dogwood providing a nice blend of cover and food for deer. The SW third of the property is higher ground with a mixture of birch, aspen and pine. A trail has been brush cut east to west across the lower third of the property and adjoins the Iron Ore Snowmobile Trail which intersects the SW corner of the property. A power line cut runs along the north border of the property and intersects with the Iron Ore Trail on the west side of the property and Wahlsten Road off the NE corner of the property. There is an easement agreement allowing access to the SE corner of the property off Benson Rd.
