Ron Terry's journey into homebuilding began with humble roots and a strong work ethic. After gaining experience in various aspects of construction, from digging ditches to finish carpentry, Ron recognized his potential to construct homes independently. In 1994, fueled by determination and supported by family, he embarked on his first homebuilding project. Securing a homesite and a loan from family members, Ron took on every aspect of the construction process with dedication and hands-on involvement. From pouring concrete to framing walls and applying finishing touches, Ron's commitment to craftsmanship was unwavering. Alongside him, his wife Merna played an integral role, managing the financial side of the business with precision and care. With the successful completion and sale of their inaugural home, Ron and Merna laid the foundation for what would become Terry Homes. Since those early days, Terry Homes has grown into a family-owned company, with Merna Terry now leading the helm and their son, Miles Terry, learning the intricacies of running a family-owned homebuilding enterprise. Despite the growth and evolution, the core mission: to provide affordable quality homes for individuals who live and work in the Flathead Valley remain at the heart of Terry Homes' operations.
