Why Live in Sossaman Estates
Like many Queen City communities, Sossaman Estates did not appear on the map before 2000. However, the small suburb has quickly established itself as an attractive community centered around convenience. Residents can walk to Sossaman Middle School or hike the Queen Creek Wash Trail. Just beyond the neighborhood, Mansel Carter Oasis Park and Queen Creek Marketplace offer activities and retailers, and the Mesa Gateway Airport is close for flights to major cities. “It’s a great place to live,” says April Anderson, owner of Queen City Realty, who has 24 years of selling experience in the region. “It’s a quiet suburb in a great location in the city.” Bike lanes, sidewalks and crosswalks create a positive pedestrian experience across Sossaman Estates. Cacti and other native flora sprout from the community's pebbled front yards, where two-car driveways lead to Spanish-style homes built during the early 2000s. Clay-tiled roofs and warm-toned exteriors add to the community’s Southwestern aesthetic, while in-ground pools offer an escape from the region's hot summers. Most homes sell between $650,000 and $800,000. However, larger recently built properties can reach up to $1.6 million.
