A neighborhood of Berks County, Pennsylvania, Liggett lies just outside of the boroughs of West Reading and Wyomissing. Both are popular spots in the Reading area, and the Liggett neighborhood features proximity to both, but at lower average home prices. She adds, “West Reading is definitely a go-to place if you want to shop locally or go out for the evening.” Located south of the two boroughs, Liggett is made up of midcentury homes built alongside a neighborhood park and a retail-heavy roadway. Cape Cods, minimal traditional and ranch-style homes line Liggett’s straight streets. Though the neighborhood lacks sidewalks, residents can still be seen out for walks on the lightly trafficked streets. Many houses don’t have driveways, meaning on-street parking is the norm here. Fortunately, curb parking is plentiful. Single-family houses typically cost between $180,000 and $300,000.
