Born and raised in the heart of the Bull City—Durham, NC—Aaron has always been proud to call North Carolina home. From neighborhood gatherings to high school football under the lights, his community shaped him into who he is today.

Thanks to a full athletic scholarship, Aaron took his journey from Durham to the mountains of Boone, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice at Appalachian State University (Roll Neers!). After college, he returned to serve the community that raised him, spending over eight years in law enforcement—protecting, connecting, and standing for what’s right.
