Aaron gained our full trust and confidence and persevered through a long house hunting experience due to changing market conditions and a selective client. We saw a ton of homes together and Aaron championed our requirements, demonstrated patience and professionalism each time. I just can’t imagine a more trusting individual to handle your northern Virginia housing needs. A five star rating for sure!

Aaron and Gary are our heroes. Incredibly responsive and thoughtful, never pushed us just to make a sale. They make sure that we got the house that was right for us, especially in this crazy market. They were invaluable resources who gave us really sound advice and also helped manage our anxieties. We recommend them to anyone/everyone.

Aaron and Gary were fantastic, start to finish! I can't say enough about how professional and supportive this pair was through our entire home search, offer/negotiation, and closing process.

I have had mostly bad experiences with real estate agents. I rarely feel like I get what I paid for; I usually wind up doing myself, a lot of what I am actually paying them to do. Aaron and Gary surprised me--working with them felt like working with a personal team of real estate consultants.

They treated us like friends who genuinely wanted to help us purchase the RIGHT home. They frequently discouraged us from buying houses we'd gone to see for one practical reason or another, protecting us from expensive/irreconcilable pitfalls we couldn't see.

They seemed constantly available, responding to most requests quickly immediately. They are experts with practical knowledge of every aspect of the buying process and the market, and they shared their expertise and opinion, even when it was likely to dissuade us from making an immediate purchase.

By the end, I felt confident trusting their judgement without question. That was huge! It saved us from making emotional choices--they actually made us significantly more competitive buyers.

The experience with The Washington Fine Reality was superb in selling our home. Aaron and Gary did the following :

1. They told us not to waste money doing staging. Changing beautiful window treatments and the neutral paint on walls.

2. Within a day made a virtual tour and posted on websites. In fact prospective buyers reviewed it in different parts of the country and bid on the house without seeing it.

3. They held open house over two days. Sifted over the offers and enabled people to bid on the house.

4. They were with us through out the process of selling and responded to our queries within a few hours.

They are experienced and continued guiding us.

We would strongly recommend them for selling or buying a house.

We had a terrific experience working with Aaron Scruggs and Gary Dopslaff. Aaron’s expertise on the community, as well as best neighborhoods and schools, was extremely helpful in finding the perfect home for our family. Aaron would often know about new houses coming on the market, as well as specific pros/cons to current listings, which saved us a lot of time in the long run. His responsiveness was above and beyond, fielding our (many) questions every step of the way. He was also terrific in during negotiations for the final purchase of our new home, as well as the sale of our previous condo.
