A review from the inside. The real estate photographers perspective. I work with many different agents. Adam included. To keep my part simple, I generate high quality listings for agents and their clients. I get a unique perspective into the different approaches agents take or don't take to list their client's property. What will they do for the client in trade for that commission? Agents do many things for the clients while managing the sale of their property. Understood. But the most important thing they do, is generate a listing and post it. You want them to do a good job at that part. You shouldn't even deal with an agent that is too cheap to get you a photographer. I'm a photographer. So you can discount that statement accordingly. But a quality listing attracts more buyers. More buyers has meant higher selling prices. Even bidding wars from people out of state based solely on the images in a listing. Crazy market these days. Does your agent value this? There's a question. These days, it will sell with cell phone photos. The agent could have a couple hundred more bucks out of that commission. Surprisingly many agents make that choice. Are they working hard for their clients? For Adam this is a no-brainer. He recognizes that even being a photographer himself, his time is best spent selling the property. Adam wants the highest quality listings possible. Whether its, virtual tours, drone work, HDR photography with extra digital work to get those beautiful window views. He wants it for his clients. Whatever is appropriate for that particular property. This is what I see. Even when he has to pay for it out of his commission. He wants it. "It's worth it" How much attention will your agent give to your listing? That's important. It can impact the selling price. As a real estate photographer, I see agents who unfortunately don't put enough attention into their listings. They all have cameras. For Adam, "developing a team of specialized professionals is the best approach to getting the best results for him and his clients" "Its a no-brainer" Obviously that would sound good from my perspective as a photographer. But it seems to me, the clients are the ones that would benefit most from this philosophy.

Adam was great to work with and fun to get to know. I needed to sell my house in Florence from another state and Adam made it super easy. He was always available when I called and was great working with my tenant who lived in the house. He had a great understanding how to market my property for top dollar and he really understood the process and contracts better than most agents I've worked with in the past. I feel that I made a new friend in Adam. Adam has such a big network of agents he knows that he referred me to a great agent in my area who will sell my next house. Big man, big heart, big results! Adam is the total package. Wow! Where to begin? I was beginning my search to relocate from San Francisco Bay Area to somewhere along the coast in Oregon. I was totally unfamiliar with the Oregon Coast. I was researching homes all along the Oregon coast on Zillow and Adam's name and photo kept appearing next to all the listings that I liked. So, I finally clicked on the "Contact Agent" button. Boy, I'm sure glad I did!
We talked on the phone a few times so he could get a sense of what I was looking for in both a home and a city. I've lived in the SF Bay Area my entire life (58 years) so this was a big move for me and my family. Adam took the time to get to know me and my lifestyle and shared his deep knowledge of the Oregon Coast area. His knowledge allowed me to narrow my search to just a few cities between Newport and Florence. This saved me many days of wasted time and money.
We finally met when I drove to Florence in Oct'20. We met at a restaurant for breakfast (pre-Covid shutdown) and spent the next few days touring properties from Newport to Florence. During this time I got to know Adam personally and I felt very comfortable with him.
Adam is well-known and well-respected in the local real estate circles. This helps immensely when submitting offers. Other listing agents will call Adam to give him advanced notice of upcoming listings. They also feel comfortable putting Adam's client's offers in front of their clients knowing that Adam is honest and forthright in his dealings. Adam can also tell if a listing is a good one based upon the listing agent or if they're simply fishing for over priced offers from inexperienced buyers.
Over the years, Adam has built up a large networks of trusted and competent partners that will help facilitate the entire real estate transfer process. He set me up with a local mortgage company and several home inspectors, contractors, handymen and cleaning services! He made it as easy as possible for me to buy a home from 600 miles away!
Adam was also very patient with me. I actually submitted offers on two other properties located in Yachats. The housing market was very competitive and offers needed to be submitted quickly. Adam was able to turn these offers around quickly and this allowed me to get in front of other potential buyers. Both the offers in Yachats were accepted by the sellers. I ended up backing out of these contracts due to inspection issues and my own second guessing, but Adam never pressured me or made me feel guilty for wasting his time. He kept tabs on the market and kept me informed about new properties in which he thought we'd be interested.
We finally found one in Florence and, due to Adam's quick turnaround and familiarity with the listing agent, we were able to get in front of the other offers. Once our offer was accepted, Adam worked with the inspectors, loan agent and listing agent to get all the proper paperwork done on time and even attended the inspections in my stead while I remained in California.
Overall, Adam's service went well beyond what's expected from a real estate agent. He was more like a good friend with lots of local knowledge and contacts. His advice and inputs gave me reassurance and peace of mind which is invaluable when making such a life changing decision and move! Thanks Adam and looking forward spending time together with our families in our new home in Florence!
