AJ Abrams is a Texas native, born in Sherman and raised in Round Rock just north of Austin. Today, he lives in Lakeway with his wife, Kayla, a teacher and coach at Lake Travis Middle School, and their two children, Aidan and Kartar.
AJ’s path to real estate is anything but ordinary. He attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he studied Youth and Community Studies and played collegiate basketball before taking his talents overseas. He spent four years playing professionally in Italy, Greece, and the Czech Republic—an experience that broadened his perspective and strengthened his discipline and work ethic. He later returned to Austin to complete his degree before transitioning into a successful career in sales, ultimately leading him to real estate.
Today, AJ is the Broker and Owner of Abrams & Associates Realty, where he specializes in residential buying, selling, and leasing. Under his leadership, the company continues to grow, now expanding its presence into the Dallas-Fort Worth area with a dedicated team. Known for his strong work ethic, strategic mindset, and ability to connect with people from all walks of life, AJ takes a consultative approach with every client—focusing on making the process smooth, informed, and results-driven.
Beyond real estate, AJ is passionate about giving back to the Austin community. He regularly participates in youth basketball camps and enjoys mentoring student-athletes, emphasizing the importance of education, discipline, and long-term vision.
