He started in residential sales and later became an income property specialist. He managed more than 100 rentals in Brattleboro VT . Also help dozens of landlords buy and sell properties. He also bought, owned, and sold income properties for his own account.
He was recruited to be a manager in Glastonbury, CT . He built that office's production. Then was sent to Middletown to build another offices production, which he did.
Then opened his own office, RE/MAX Flagship in East Hartford. After several years, he didn't like being the boss; Al sold the office and has been an agent ever since. He missed working with buyers and sellers of real estate; he loved that aspect of the business.
So, following his favorite saying, which was first quoted by Confucous, "Choose a job you love, and you'll never have to work a day in your life"; Alfonso went back to being a real estate agent.
