Al Starnes

Hello,
His name is Al Starnes. His wife, Angela, and he fell in love with Trigg County and the lake area. They moved to Trigg County full time on June 1, 2018. They live in Canton Shores and are now enjoying everything that comes with lake life including the Mayflies and bugs. They have one daughter who is the apple of his eye. She is twenty-seven and is a kindergarten teacher in McCracken County.
They both attended Murray State where she was a track star and he played football. He was fortunate to go back to his Alma Mater and coach football in 1986,87, & eighty-eight. He then went to Austin Peay State University and coached football in 1989. In 1990 he took his first head coaching job at Clarksville High School. In 1991 he accepted the head football coaching position until this season.
Angela was a standout state champion Track star at Todd County Central before she went to Murray State on a track scholarship. She is a 2018 Inductee into the KHSAA/Dawhares Hall of Fame. She won 7 State Titles and still holds the Class A 100-meter dash record of 12.2 set in 1980.
Angela and he just retired from Crittenden County Public Schools where they both had many responsibilities. Her passion is teaching elementary Physical Education and mine was being the Head Football Coach there for 27 years.

The new chapter in his life is in the real estate profession. He is a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Service 1st Realty here in Cadiz. He would like to put his strong work ethic and winning attitude to work for you, your family members, and your friends, in any real estate need.
