Alan Byars

Alan has focused on real estate for the past seven years of his 13-year finance and accounting career. As a founding principal of Blanton Turner, Alan leads the finance side of the company's objective – to run properties like the multi-million dollar businesses they are. He excels at explaining the details of accounting as well as the broader strategy of managing real estate at an asset management level.

Alan has been active in the Urban Land Institute since 2005 and is a past Board Fellow with Habitat for Humanity of Seattle & South King County.

Alan earned his BBA in Finance and Accounting from Texas Christian University, and his MBA with a real estate concentration from the University of Washington.
