Alan Farkas’ journey in real estate began in 2001 when he purchased his first home. Who would have thought that he was going to make a career of that 15 years later. He has different experiences in real estate. In 2005, he bought his first rental property in Chanhassen and has been a landlord pretty much ever since. Early in 2015, he received his real estate appraisal license and early in 2016, he became a licensed Realtor working with Coldwell Banker Realty, where he is today. Real estate has and will always be a passion of his. He loves seeing homes for the first time and nothing makes him happier than being a matchmaker linking happy individuals and beautiful homes. He has lived and worked all over the metro. However, he has spent the bulk of the last 17 years in the western suburbs. Early in his career, he worked with many different kinds of buyers. However, what he specializes in, and enjoys the most is first time home buyers. He also has experience working with investors, relocation, as well as existing home buyers.
